Why is a perpetual motion machine impossible?

A perpetual motion machine is an engine that has an efficiency of more than 100% and does not require energy to operate.Despite the fact that a lot of developers tried to create a perpetual motion machine and they all failed, many of the novice engineers are now trying to create this fantastic thing.

There are some physical laws that can explain why the idea of a perpetual motion machine is impossible.

1. The law of conservation of energy

This law is a statement that energy does not disappear or arise, it passes from one state to another. The eternal engine needs a certain energy with which it will work, when this energy runs out the engine stops working.

2. Construction defects

There are no perfect constructions where there is no friction between parts and interaction with the outside world. If there is friction between the parts, some of the energy is converted into heat and the engine loses energy. With any interaction with the outside world, energy losses increase and the engine cannot run forever.
